Municipal Solid Waste Recycling Plant
Municipal solid waste recycling plant is an integrated waste processing system designed to sort, separate, and recover valuable materials from household and urban garbage. By applying mechanical screening, crushing, sorting, and separation technologies, the plant improves waste treatment efficiency while minimizing resource loss and environmental pollution. Its main purpose is to extract reusable materials, including paper, plastics, metals, and glass, from mixed municipal solid waste. These recovered resources can be further processed and returned to the production cycle, while non-recyclable residues are sent for appropriate treatment or disposal. This recycling solution helps reduce landfill waste, conserve natural resources, and support sustainable urban waste management.
RAW MATERIALS:

1. Household Solid Waste: This type of waste is mainly generated by daily residential activities and public spaces. Common sources include homes, apartment complexes, public garbage bins, streets, coastal areas, and recreational parks.
2. Commercial Solid Waste: Commercial waste originates from business and service establishments, including retail stores, restaurants, hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, and local markets.
3. Industrial Solid Waste: This category consists of waste produced during various industrial manufacturing and production processes. It generally excludes construction and demolition debris, hazardous chemical waste, and other specially classified waste materials.
WORKING PRINCIPLE:

The waste is first loaded onto a heavy-duty chain conveyor by a front-end loader or shovel and then transported through a metering and homogenizing system to ensure an even material flow. It is subsequently delivered to a manual sorting platform, where workers remove large unwanted objects and interfering materials. The remaining waste enters a bag opener for crushing and size reduction. Afterward, a magnetic separator extracts ferrous metals from the processed materials. The remaining waste is conveyed to a trommel screen for classification. Fine materials, such as soil, sand, and other small residues, fall through the screen and are transported to a designated storage area for further treatment. The oversized materials are carried to an air separator, which separates lightweight and heavyweight fractions. Lightweight materials, including plastics and paper, are conveyed to a baling machine for compression and packaging, while heavy materials are transported to a separate storage area for subsequent processing and recycling.
CHAIN SCRAPER CONVEYOR: During the working process, the conveyor can uniformly and continuously feed blocky and granular materials into the crushing device.
MANUAL SORTING PLATFORM: The manual sorting platform is controlled by a frequency converter, and several sorting stations are set on both sides, each station corresponding to a garbage collection hopper. Such as glass, textiles, wood, waste paper, and aluminum, selected by hand.
BAG BREAKING MACHINE: Effectively crushing the packaging materials and facilitating the screening effect.
TROMMEL SCREEN: The drum screen controls the garbage sorting through the particle size, and the sorting accuracy is high. The sieve aperture on each section of the drum sieve is the same.
WIND SEPARATOR: The wind separator is based on the principle of aerodynamics, using air as the separation medium, and sorting the solid wastes according to the density under the action of airflow.
Customized according to different materials and requirements.
